Suspect Caught

Merced County Sheriff's Department got help from Ceres and Modesto Police Department apprehending felony suspect Armando Vasquez after a lengthy pursuit from south Stanislaus County into Modesto. The chase ended on Riverside Road in Modesto when Vasquez crashed his truck into an MID power pole. Armanod Vasquez, 22, was arrested for driving a stolen vehicle, delaying and obstructing an officer, hit and run and well as felony warrents from Merced County.
